Marxism Takes Over Mainstream Media 

Conservative Warrior: Joseph Campbell’s concept of monomyth (one myth) refers to the theory that sees all mythic narratives as variations of a single great story. The theory is based on the observation that a common pattern exists beneath the narrative elements of most great myths, regardless of their origin or time of creation.

It appears that Cultural Marxism has taken over the myth department in modern-day America. Unlike Campbell’s concept of the one myth that can supply you with a greater understanding of human nature, the Marxist myth will plunge you into a world of totalitarian illusions.

Fortunately, we have another installment of Joseph D. Leatherwood’s “The War We Are In” to set us straight. 

Informational Warfare – The Myth Makers

We have observed the systematic infiltration and subversion of our cultural and societal institutions by Cultural Marxists^[1] and the National Socialist Party, over the past century-and-a-quarter a.k.a., Democrat Party.  Indeed, what readers commonly reference as the “Democrat” Party has long ago been consumed by various socialist factions.  It has essentially been a socialist party since the progressive era.  At the heart of their movement was the gradualist strategy where these institutionalists have used our own freedoms, rights, and laws against us.

Cultural Marxist first moved to infiltrate and take over the academy (Universities), and once ensconced, applied their model to target and takeover other societal institutions.  In their positions, they “educated” disciples for placement in America’s institutions to become “influencers” in government, corporate, and non-profit bureaucracies.

Following the takeover of the universities, the next big targets for the institutionalists were (1) the media, in all its incarnations, and (2) government at all levels, with its mechanisms and instrumentalities for social control.  The latter has been taken over via the political parties, in particular the “Democrat” Party.

Myth and Institutional Takeovers

These two institutions offered major avenues for the insertion and transmission of the Marxist philosophy.  Both provided the critical third element necessary for the spread of Marxist propaganda to the nation and attack our extended order, i.e., the propagandist needs the means to transmit the message.  This is the government–media complex that has worked hand-in-hand and is as dangerous as anything we have ever thought about the military–industrial complex.

With respect to the media, which this article is limited, the means for transmitting propaganda can be identified broadly to include: (1) print, voice and video news, (2) movies, (3) documentaries, (4) plays, (5) speeches, (6) literature (in its various forms), (7) photography and videography, (8) entertainment (e.g., professional sports, concerts, etc.), (9) music, and (10) social media platforms.  While any one of these is not propagandistic, in and of themselves, any one of them or all can become the propagandist’s tool for transmitting a message (messaging) in support of a defined end.

Myth and the Case of Crossfire Hurricane

As an example, in the case of Crossfire Hurricane, James Clapper (propagandist) leaked classified material to Yahoo News (means of transmission) to smear the President of the United States (the defined end).  He then turned around and used this leaked information in the form of a “news story” as evidence of wrongdoing by the President, incorporating it into his investigation as another dot-connecting pseudo-events within their narrative.  This is an example of disinformation where the propagandist possessed monopoly control over the source, flow, and interpretation of the information or communications to the targeted population – ‘We the People.’

In the early stages of Crossfire Hurricane, this method of messaging (disinformation) was broad-based among the Executive Branch (Obama-Biden), Department of Justice, FBI, DNI, CIA, Treasury, State, and other bureaucracies.  This messaging is an example of standard tradecraft employed by our government to overthrow an enemy government, e.g., a color revolution, except it was (and continues to be) employed in the United States of America against a duly elected President.^[2]

A disinformation campaign works only if the propagandist (operator) has monopoly control over messaging and the means of transmitting that message.  When the monopoly is thwarted (uncovered), the operation or story disintegrates, exposing the operator, the story, and his/her sources and methods.

Mainstream Media’s Fake News

Therefore the “mainstream media” has become little more than fake news, obsessed with a singular end (goal) of overthrowing the President of the United States and driving republicans out of office.  In their Trump, anti-conservative derangement, they have engaged every means at their disposal to achieve that end, including not doing their jobs.^[3]  What complicates their derangement is (1) their arrogance about their own skills, abilities, and talents and (2) their perception the nation still trusts them.

In their obsession with toppling President Trump and his movement, they have been abandoned by the government operators who fed their narratives and egos because the latter have been exposed for their treasonous, unethical behavior, lawless actions, and outright lies.  That is, the perceived authority once underlying the words from the swamp creatures, Deep State operatives, has collapsed, leaving the media to fend for themselves, forced now to publish unsourced, often outlandish, unsubstantiated stories and interpretations of those stories that fall apart within hours.^[4]

They are continually engaged in disinformation campaigns; that is, they make up unsubstantiated stories or purposely suppress negative messages about their fellow conspirators (corrupt criminal socialists) to support their narrative myth-making.  For example, if you watch ABC, CBS, NBC, or CNN, you will never see a story about Hunter Biden and how he came to be a multimillionaire.  What you will see are denials of the story as being an unsubstantiated right-wing conspiracy. You will never see a story about the corrupt, criminal socialist model, e.g., the Joe Biden story where a politician lives off the taxpayers his/her entire life, enriches him or herself, enriches his family and friends, enriches his cronies by selling his position and power to the highest bidder.  This is a suppression of alternatives to the narrative.

Corporatist Media Engages in Myth-Making

Beyond disinformation campaigns, the corporatist media are engaged in asymmetric warfare, conducting misinformation campaigns where they purposely twist truths and lies, conflate issues, confuse cause and effect, and employ other tactics to create a narrative (myth) in support of some defined end.  They are engaged in a massive gaslighting campaign to confuse and ultimately convince We the People to capitulate to their vision of order.

Their defined end? They seek to overthrow this President and drive conservatives from office; that is, they seek to fundamentally transform the United States into a one-party state.  They are using their positions and institution to campaign against the American people and their will.  They have openly embraced and advocate for the revolutionary socialist ideology with its tenets of collective slavery and totalitarian governance.  This is extremism by any definition.

In their mania, they have become the problem, a central element in the corruption gripping the nation.  The “mainstream media” have become full partners in our nation’s greatest political scandal; they are the useful idiots Lenin celebrated.  They have become propagandists for Deep State socialists (operatives) and corporatists and, by extension, the informational warfare arm for revolutionary socialism.  In Germany, the National Socialist Party’s propaganda arm was the Reich Ministry of Enlightenment and Propaganda; sadly, this is what the “mainstream media” have become.

The Mainstream Sell-Out

Instead of being the fourth estate watchdog rooted in the First Amendment and objectively holding politicians and government accountable, they have become a fifth column.  They have picked up the extremist’s banner and now march alongside cultural Marxist seeking to fundamentally transform the nation.  The “mainstream media” have been completely compromised, taken over by the ideology of revolutionary socialism, and are fully complicit in the movement to overthrow the constitution, the government, and the nation.  Instead of exposing, covering, and reporting on this scandal and the militant savagery, both are related; they have become co-conspirators engaged in active measures – informational warfare – against the American people.

They are no longer searchers for the truth; instead, they have declared there is no truth but their own.  In their abandonment of searching for truth, they have engaged in creating their own truth, their discovered truth, their own myth-making.
