Dallas hair salon owner Shelley Luther won her freedom Thursday, thanks to the Texas Supreme Court and Gov. Greg Abbott.
Luther’s imprisonment fueled a national debate over public health vs. economic desperation, with conservative GOP politicians and media outlets fervently demanding her release.
Democratic State District Judge Eric Moyé of Dallas gave Shelly Luther 7 days in jail after she refused to allow her business to collapse. And Democrats claim they’re friends of the average citizen, which makes them pathological liars.
President Trump also praised the decision to release the salon owner. Now it’s up to him to prove he supports the free enterprise system by immediately ending the shutdown.
