People Keep Falling for the False Promises of Socialism
Conservative Warrior: For more than 100 years, the different brands of socialism have destroyed the lives of hundreds of millions of people, yet people keep falling for its false promises. For that reason, I will use my valuable time to easily demolish its fallacies. However, we will first cover two news stories.
New York Times celebrates Seattle protesters’ ‘Autonomous Zone’: ‘A homeland for racial justice’
The New York Times celebrated Seattle’s six-block area abandoned by law enforcement dubbed “Capitol Hill Autonomous Zone” as “a homeland for racial justice” on Thursday.
The Times went a different route, embracing the area with a glowing feature, “Free Food, Free Speech and Free of Police: Inside Seattle’s ‘Autonomous Zone.’”
Conservative Warrior: Welcome to a freak show where we get to witness an example of socialism that includes free food and no cops.
Let’s take this to its logical conclusion. Since nothing gets produced under socialism, the food eventually runs out. Without a police force to keep law and order, what do you think will happen?
California sandwich shop closed after owner likens Black Lives Matter to KKK, stresses he doesn’t support BLM
A sandwich shop in Davis, Calif., has closed after the franchise owner made a statement likening the Black Lives Matter organization — an anti-racism advocacy group — to the Ku Klux Klan.
Mickey Mann, the franchise owner of a Mr. Pickle’s Sandwich Shop, had his store shut down by corporate after an email he sent to his staff was re-shared to social media.
Conservative Warrior: Every day, it becomes more apparent that Corporate America has turned its back on free speech and will succumb to radical demands.
With the Fed buying up assets like crazy, Corporate America growing larger, and Government becoming bigger and more dictatorial…the brand of socialism we will suffer under is known as fascism.
Easily Conquering the Fallacies of Socialism
As I gaze out my window, watching a few scattered clouds lazily drift by on this warm, sunny afternoon, I fantasize about how nice it would be to meditate and go with the flow of a peaceful, easy feeling. However, since it’s time for me to write an article, I’ll give you something short and sweet. Well, actually, it won’t be sweet since I’m easily conquering the fallacies of socialism in just four paragraphs.
Here’s a syllogism about socialism attributed to Milton Friedman.
- Socialism has been a failure everywhere it has been tried;
- Everyone knows this; and
- Therefore, we need more socialism.
Honestly, socialism is the last thing we need—and here’s why in four easy paragraphs.
The State Owns Your Life
Socialism is a social system where the state owns the means of production because it has abolished private property. The hapless individual can only follow the orders of those in charge. The State restricts the actions of its citizens, hampering their ability to improve their well-being. Instead of the decisions of millions determining the organization of society, only a few make the decisions.
Can you imagine how stifled a system becomes when only a few people can use the information necessary for successful action? Also, when the government abolishes economic calculation by seizing the means of production and eliminating the market’s pricing mechanism, a vital source of information vanishes. Without correct information about prices, wages and interest rates chaos ensues because the compass of successful action has disappeared. There is no gauge of success and failure. The system eventually shuts down and never reorganizes at a higher level.
Socialists are Completely Ignorant about Economics
Socialism is a Closed System
Isn’t it obvious that socialism is a closed system, tending towards chaos and disintegration? Eventually, the unfortunate citizens descend into poverty and misery. A few privileged party members benefit at the expense of the destitute masses. You know, I could supply you with thousands of pages of economic theory explaining why socialism is doomed to failure. However, I think the facts speak for themselves. It actually did collapse because of its inability to adapt to change.
Socialism cannot accomplish the stated goals because it exists as a closed system that quickly stifles and chokes off individual initiative. The impossibility of economic calculation in a purely socialist system is enough to cripple it permanently. The fact that socialism prevents the free flow of information dooms it to chaos and eventual collapse.
Now that was easy. It’s time for this Conservative Warrior to return to a meditative state of mind.
Conclusion
Government tyranny/threat of socialism viciously attacks your individual rights. Also, you must realize that the political establishment will use social unrest to enhance its power. It’s time to fight back and demand your personal liberty and economic freedom.
