Basic Universal Income Portends the Permanent Death of Capitalism

Reps. Tim Ryan (D-OH) and Ro Khanna (D-CA) introduces a bill that would provide Americans with $2,000 per month during the coronavirus pandemic.

Here’s a good question. If we continue to experience an economic shutdown, how can the government justify giving every citizen a basic universal income? After all, wealth consists of goods and services, not currency.

Answer: We will come wards of the state. If there are no free enterprise jobs, most people will be rendered helpless, unable to take care of their basic needs.

Legal Beagle supplies us with a definition of an Adult Ward of the State.

“Not all adults have the ability to care for themselves. Whether from disability, disease or age, some adults are unable to make their own decisions without help. They can become adult wards of the state when this happens. Adult wards of the state don’t have adult family members who are willing or able to serve as guardians. Guardians are instead appointed by the court from local government agencies to make decisions for them.”

The first sentence sums it up.

Hundreds of millions of Americans will lose the ability to care for themselves, becoming wards of the STATE. The Deep State has put its agenda into action; elites celebrate their ongoing success.

Government Control of Economic System

The government will gain complete control of our economic system assigning each person his role in society. In other words, you’ll become an economic slave, working long hours for your pittance since the productivity of labor will remain dismally low. That’s full-scale socialism for you.

Let’s find how the individual functions in a capitalistic society.

Ludwig von Mises states, “In the market economy the individual is free to act within the orbit of private property and the market. His choices are final. For his fellow men his actions are data which they must take into account in their own acting. The coordination of the autonomous actions of all individuals is accomplished by the operation of the market. Society does not tell a man what to do and what not to do. There is no need to enforce cooperation by special orders or prohibitions. Noncooperation penalizes itself. Adjustment to the requirements of society’s productive effort and the pursuit of the individual’s own concerns are not in conflict. Consequently, no agency is required to settle such conflicts. The system can work and accomplish its tasks without the interference of an authority issuing special orders and prohibitions and punishing those who do not comply.”

Government control of the economy means you have no choice of how to use your labor. Your dreams and desires are nothing but dust in the wind. You do what you’re told, or you don’t survive.

Basic Universal Income

Yeah, you will receive your basic universal income, but you will live the existence of society’s slave. The realization will hit you like a ton of bricks that you traded your liberty for illusory security. The cruel facts of reality inform you that you have neither freedom nor security. Your life belongs to the “God State.”

Think about this. You sit at home jobless and isolated because of the economic shutdown…you’re almost out of money. Because of that, you eagerly await your $1200 stimulus check, trying to deny that this is the first step towards your enslavement. Even those who know better will accept the money to survive.

Look at the following chart and explain how a stimulus check is supposed to help the economy when retail sales are plummeting because of an economic shutdown.

The Emergency Money for the People Act is meant to provide relief to qualifying citizens over age 16 “until employment returns to pre-COVID-19 levels.”

The World Economic Forum, a tool of the Elite, says,” Universal basic income is the answer to the inequalities exposed by COVID-19.”

The following chart shows the plunge of the manufacturing index. It looks like production is at a standstill, indicating the market cries out for a deflationary collapse.

Now think about this. Men and women receive their monthly $2,000; however, the number of goods and services has collapsed. Doesn’t this portent hyperinflation? How will the Elite and its Deep State handle an impossible situation?

We fear it will make sure the bill becomes permanent, relegating you to a ward of the state. Many Americans will believe that all is well and they can enjoy life, somehow surviving on the funds…not knowing that’s the price of their slavery.

Capitalism versus Socialism

1. Capitalism is private ownership and control of the means of production.
2. Socialism is public (state) ownership of the means of production. The totalitarian state owns everything and everyone’s life.

The system of unhampered capitalism (laissez-faire) offers its citizens many benefits.

1. In a system of unhampered capitalism (free enterprise), everyone is free to choose.
2. All voluntary exchanges are legal, which makes it a completely open system.
3. It allows its citizen to grow and thrive.
4. It encourages entrepreneurial activity.
5. It eliminates cronyism which means citizens are no longer at the mercy of the political and financial establishment.
6. The government’s only function is to protect life, liberty and property.
7. Only involuntary exchanges are illegal because these types of anti-social activities interfere with an individual’s freedom of choice.
8. Sound economic theory conclusively proves that unhampered capitalism is the only system that can result in the happiness and prosperity that individuals desire.

Socialism is inefficient because it is a closed system.

1. It tends toward chaos and disintegration.
2. A few benefit at the expense of the many.
3. It quickly stifles and chokes off individual initiative.
4. It prevents the free flow of information, which dooms it to chaos and eventual collapse.
5. It deprives and impoverishes its citizens.
6. When you eliminate free markets, you eliminate the benefit of economic calculation.
7. It actually did collapse because of its inability to adapt to change. Remember, socialism and communism are the same animals.

We can conclude that the social system of unhampered capitalism is the only arrangement of society’s activities that constitute an open system.

A basic universal income will destroy what’s left of our capitalistic social system.

All forms of socialism will result in the misery, poverty and degradation of the masses.
