Repeatedly picking fights with Fox News and Megan Kelly is one of the most
puzzling things Donald Trump has done during this campaign. Why would he
wrestle with the most dominant cable news organization, especially the
network that attracts the most Republicans and Conservatives?
Despite the fact that talking heads on CNN, NBC and ABC have constantly
trashed Trump and everything about Trump, he never attacks or points
figures at them. Lawrence O’Donnell, Chris Mathews and others at MSNBC call
Trump everything under the sun yet Trump holds his fire. Why?
There are four clear reasons for that strategy: There is no down-side to
attacking the media, even Fox News; Trump grabs headlines from the rest of
the media that hates Fox due to professional envy at their high ratings;
Democrats and Independents are delighted when someone of stature like Trump
attacks Fox; and Trump crowds out Ted Cruz in … Read More
It’s clear that Donald Trump confused acting “Presidential” at the last
debate with acting like he just had a frontal lobotomy. His performance
looked like Jack Nicholson after his brain operation in the movie “One Flew
Over The Cuckoo’s Nest”. He was calm, reserved and humble. In other words
he was not being Trump. If that’s what America has to look forward to then
it will be a boring first term.
Of course the main problem is that if he keeps acting like Trump then he
won’t get elected in the first place. His negatives are so sky high even
Hillary’s negatives start looking acceptable in comparison to much of the
electorate.
Trump even brags that he’s expanding the GOP by attracting Democrats and
others who seldom voted before. Well, for heaven’s sake, the LAST thing the
Republican Party needs is more people who think like Democrats. There are
already … Read More
Based on their less-than-stellar performances during this primary season,
it’s clear that Senator Rubio and Gov. Kasich need to exit stage left.
TODAY!
Rubio is now deemed by the GOP electorate to be not ready for prime time.
We can all debate the reasons for this until the pyramids erode down to ant
hills but it won’t change the obvious fact that Republicans will not give
Rubio the nod in this cycle. Maybe he’s too young. Maybe he doesn’t have
the requisite gravitas. Maybe his Gang of Eight association is an anchor
around his neck. Whatever!! The bottom line: it’s not Marco’s year. He
earned zero delegates in the 3/8 primaries.
Rubio should now throw whatever little political capital he has left behind
Cruz to stop Trump in Florida. Simple. Clear.
John Kasich has not won a single state. Not even … Read More
The Republican Party has always been afraid of…everything. That’s why
Trump is whipping their candidates in the primaries and that’s why Trump
will spank the GOP Establishment if it tries to wrest the nomination from
him.
Republicans are afraid of the media, Obama and Democrats. They’re afraid to
offend Independents. They’re afraid of getting blamed for a government
shutdown. They’re afraid of unions and illegal aliens. They’re afraid of
Latinos and Blacks. They’re afraid of their own shadows. It’s a wonder
Republicans can get out of bed in the morning and probably don’t walk past
cemeteries at night.
The only people Republicans don’t fear are Conservatives and the Tea Party.
Fear is also why Republican candidates didn’t attack Trump during the
primaries; they were afraid to offend his supporters who they coveted in
case he collapsed. While that might have … Read More
The less-than-honorable Reverend Al Sharpton threatened to leave America if
Donald Trump becomes President.
Well, it looks like CP-USA might reconsider its Ted Cruz endorsement if
that’s true. Getting rid of Sharpton could be reason enough to vote for
Trump. Now if Sharpton also promised to take Jessie Jackson with him then
we will recommend everybody vote for Trump.
Of course they would both have to promise to never come back.

During his trip to Mexico Pope Francis wrongly inserted himself into US
politics by attacking Trump for his desire to build a wall to stop illegal
aliens from pouring into the United States. This was an obvious attempt to
pander to Mexicans (somewhat like Hillary Clinton does) while getting
involved in a critical election cycle.
No matter what one feels about Trump or the issue of walls to stop illegal
immigration, the idea that a religious leader of a foreign country (The
Vatican) taking sides just rubs Americans the wrong way. Especially when
the Vatican has walls that are 50 feet high and 20 feet thick. Even Trump
couldn’t build one that big.

The Conservative Party extends its heartfelt sympathy to the Scalia family and the United States of America. Antonin Scalia was a legal lion the likes of which America will never see again on the Supreme Court. His brilliance had no equal and he was respected by legal friends and adversaries alike. God speed Justice Scalia.
Although Scalia was a legal scholar and a fine gentleman, he had the bad manners to die during a critical presidential election cycle. His death not only creates doubt about pending cases on illegal immigration and abortion, Scalia’s passing also gives Obama and Democrats a grand opportunity to add another liberal to SCOTUS. This will drag the Court further left for the next two generations. If Obama gets his way, Americans who believe in the Constitution and traditional values will be cast into the shadows and marginalized for years. If you think SCOTUS decisions on … Read More
The rough and tumble year in politics ended 2015 on a high note for true Conservatism. Rush Limbaugh and Franklin Graham finally came to their senses by publically smashing and crashing the very outdated notion that America needs the Republican Party anymore. Welcome to the party, gentlemen. It’s about time.
Taliban-bearded Paul Ryan, Snitch McConnell and the usual suspects in the hidebound GOP establishment passed a $1.2 Trillion Budget that betrayed most of the campaign promises Republicans made to America during the past four years. Sneaker Boehner passed the “Torch of Betrayal” to Ryan and sang “Zip-a-Dee-Doo-Dah” while doing so. This Budget calamity funded EVERYTHING Obama and the Democrats wanted. Planned Parenthood was funded in toto. So was Obama’s plan to settle 10,000 Syrian refugees in America against the will of the people.
In addition to raising the national debt yet again, this Budget fiasco also gave ObamaCare more operating … Read More
The recent Islamic terrorist attacks in Paris bring Obama’s haphazard immigration and foreign policies into sharp relief. The Syrian refugee surge in Europe will become the same problem in America if we let Obama have his way. Radical Muslim terrorists play on our sense of compassion and will intermingle with innocent immigrants so they can to wreck havoc in the United States. Take heed America!
Even “moderate” Muslims do not assimilate with the cultures to which they immigrate for a key reason: they want to fundamentally change those cultures. Muslims understand that gradual immigration without assimilation is invasion without the need for war. Sadly, too many Europeans (and US liberals) are oblivious to this dangerous trend. We might have to change the map of Europe to include “The Islamic Republic of Germany” within the next 10 years. Take heed Europe!
