The recent surge of illegal immigrants from Central America demolishes the notion that America’s borders are secure. Not by a long shot. Border security doesn’t look anything like watching overwhelmed ICE agents changing diapers, treating skin diseases and pulling lice from their own scalps. Screen doors in submarines are more effective than Obama’s version of border security.
Obama is handling this new crisis just like he’s handled other major crises: badly. The IRS, VA, Syria, ISIS in Iraq, Benghazi, Sgt. Bergdahl and ObamaCare debacles point to level of incompetence not seen since Jimma Carter. Now Obama wants $3.7 Billion to process this new wave of illegals. Well, it doesn’t take $3.7B to deport these people. Conservatives will not just say “No”, we’ll say “HELL NO”.
Of course there’s no telling what those frightened little Republicans will do. Maybe they’ll file a new lawsuit or have another Hearing. Another press conference maybe?
If Obama wants $3B then he should ask Mark Zuckerberg, Warren Buffett, Sheldon Adelson and Bill Gates for the money. Then he should go hat-in-hand to the Chamber of Commerce for the rest. Of course Glen Beck will provide lollipops and teddy bears. The Conservative Party wants to ask that troupe of useful idiots how many of those illegal aliens they’ll invite into their mansions. They’ve got the rooms and the cash. Same question applies to Nancy Pelosi. Are those silly media and Hollywood bleeding hearts willing to open some migrant processing centers in Beverly Hills? Either put up or STFU.
How did those poor, uneducated and untrained people in Central America “discover” a legal loophole in the 2008 Immigration Bill that requires the US to treat them differently than Mexican immigrants? Somebody in the Obama Administration purposely told them, that’s how. That’s why we have this sudden flood. Congress must change that law. Immediately!
Obama and Democrats (and a few Republicans) blame this rush of illegals on the failure of the House to pass the Senate Immigration Bill. What total nonsense! Not one provision in that Senate Bill that would have prevented this rush. Except as noted above, the only way to effectively “reform” immigration is to enforce ALL CURRENT immigration laws. There is no value in enacting new immigration laws if Obama won’t enforce current immigration laws.
All poor Americans should applaud the brave citizens of Murrieta, CA for rejecting the dumping of illegals into their town. No one is hurt more by this new wave of unskilled and uneducated illegal immigrants than low-income American citizens already looking for jobs. More illegals just depress wages even more. That peaceful rebellion in Murrieta should be duplicated across the nation.
CP-USA urges Congress to craft very specific rules for any new money it gives Obama Claus. Aside for treating medical emergencies and genuine humanitarian needs like food/water, money must be targeted for expedited expatriation, more temporary detention centers and more border guards. Then deploy the National Guard to supplement border patrols.
The Conservative Party would threaten – promise – to cut foreign aid to all those Central American countries who won’t accept the return of their citizens. Mexico would also suffer significant aid cuts unless it staunches this river of human sorrow at its Southern border. Immediately!
Unlike waffling House Republicans, the Conservative Party will actually use the Power of the Purse to properly manage this runaway government.
