Special Guest Joseph D. Leatherwood Exposes the Totalitarians

Note from the National Managing Editor. Joseph D. Leatherwood offers you a hard-hitting article that should cause totalitarians nightmares; however, people must begin supporting personal liberty and economic freedom.

The War We Are In – The Totalitarians

There is an ominous specter stalking America; that menace is totalitarianism.   As the reality of what has been imposed on this nation sets in, we are discovering totalitarian tendencies are broad-based, pervasive at every level of government, and, seemingly, acceptable to a great many of our fellow Americans.  Make no mistake, ‘We the People’ are now engaged in a fight to take back our rights, economy, and nation.

In fact, this acceptance has been surprising given the suspension of our Constitutional rights and the imposition of what amounts to martial law.  Some among us have even become such good comrades we have no misgivings about tattle-telling on our fellow citizens for not covering their face or maintaining a proper distance.  Across the nation, totalitarianism is on the march; it is manifest and high stepping in all its glory down main street America.

These tendencies are occurring every day from Shelly Luther’s imprisonment, an entrepreneurial hairdresser, wanting to do nothing more than earn a living so she could feed her children.  We see a bar owner and his friends raided, arrested, and taken off to jail in West Texas by a SWAT team because they were protesting his business’s shut-down.

Petite totalitarians have been very busy across the fruited plains – they have spitefully shut down beaches, mandated people wear masks, arrested preachers stopped people from purchasing seeds for their gardens, suspended school, and fined those attending church services because there were more than 10 people gathered to gather.

Totalitarians Infest Dystopian ‘Paradises”

In that dystopia of municipal socialism, San Antonio, Texas, the city council outlawed certain kinds of speech, e.g., “China or Chinese Virus,” as hate speech mandating politically correct terms for all its citizens to use, e.g., coronavirus or COVID-19.  Their decree says we can use only these terms in communications about the virus.  Will they start monitoring our mail and emails next?  Maybe our conversations with our neighbors?  Where is Winston Smith when we need him? In another of these dystopia paradises – Los Angeles, local government confiscated private property from hotel owners for housing the homeless and telling owners they have no rights to remove these people or to their property.  These Hitlerians have even coerced “essential” businesses into doing their bidding and enforcing their draconian dictates and mandates, driving off customers because they do not wear a mask.

Totalitarianism is descriptive for the actions (policies) imposed by the regime running a government.  Under their actions, political power is centralized unto a dictator or a committee of elites (politburo).  Decrees and laws are exercised through dictatorial, arbitrary police powers.  Once mandated, the potentate demands total subservience to their dictates.  Generally, there are no avenues to oppose these moral narcissists’ actions because their power is absolute.

Such are the actions of various governors, county judges, county commissions, mayors, and city councils in these islands of socialism spread across this nation.  We are witnessing just how far these moral narcissists will go with their impositions when unopposed and unchallenged.  By their words and deeds, tyrants have emerged, and there is no question where they stand and what they stand for.  They have pulled back the curtain revealing their identity (totalitarians) and actions (totalitarianism).

Socialism, the Totalitarian Mindset and Social Control

These potentates seek social control over every individual and every aspect of their lives, from politics to economics to culture (morality).  Consider just for a moment, the Austin mayor and city council ordered all restaurants to record each customer’s name and census data and where they sat in their visit as a means of tracking them and their contacts.  Thankfully, the Texas Attorney General stepped in to declare that unconstitutional and beyond the limits of the governor’s guidelines for opening.

And do not be misled, socialism is not the ownership of the means of production, that is a trite construct of academic obfuscation; socialism is not an economic theory; it is far more encompassing and sinister, it is a social theory build on the “constructive application of power” and social control by the state over labor, capital and society, in short, it is enslavement, it is a system of slavery.  In all its varieties, socialism is the revolt of a man-centered vision of order against God, Truth, Liberty and the Good.  The characteristics of socialism and its practitioners are straightforward.   They are liars, deceptive, authoritarian, discriminatory (bigots), impositional, power-hungry, elitist, dividers, arbitrary, accusers, secular, humanist, self-righteous, politically correct, evolutionist, rebels, and corrupt.

This totalitarian mindset is rooted in the practitioner’s own self-importance and superiority.  This mindset is on display with Nancy Pelosi, Gavin Newsome, Andrew Cuomo, Jim Comey, Adam Schiff, Barrack Obama, and a hundred more just like them.  They believe themselves better equipped to “lead” because their intentions make them better people than those they govern.  They believe themselves to be the smartest person in any room they walk into…and the center of attention.

While they want the world to see them as caring, kind, and compassionate, such sentiments quickly crumble away where their power or threats to their power begins.  The current crisis clearly demonstrates that.  They have amorally and unethically employed the Wuhan-China virus as a tool, a means, to achieve an end.  Their end is to wrestle power from the Trump coalition (their’ target).

Moral Narcissists

These moral narcissists are employing the virus to (1) create fear amongst ‘We the People,’  (2) shutdown the economy, (3) keep it locked down for as long as possible, (4) attack the President and Republicans for their handling of the crisis with the intent to (5) polarize the nation.  By shutting down the economy and keeping it shut, they reason they can hurt ‘We the People’ much faster and over a longer period as they attack the Trump administration and its response.  So much for their empathy.

To do that, they have taken one of the noblest human virtues, compassion, and turned it into a political tool for social control.  This weaponizing of compassion demonstrates how far they will go.  As an example, those of us who have argued for opening the economy have been met with a chorus of jackals ridiculing us; we have been told we must want to kill people, we believe in profits over people, opening up will lead to a resurgence of the virus, etc.

Saul Alinsky encouraged his fellow community organizers and Marxists to constantly ridicule the “haves” – the capitalist, the entrepreneur, the bourgeoisie (middle class), etc.  He said that “ridicule is a potent weapon,”; but it is a two-edged sword; ridicule should be reserved for those most deserving, those who wish to hurt the nation, the economy and ‘We the People’ for their own selfish ends – corrupt, criminal socialists.
