The Conservative Party Unites – Not Divides – True Conservatives

The Conservative Party was specifically founded to rectify the consistent failures of the two major parties.   CP-USA has the political courage to step into the breach created by those failures.  We also understand that America can only survive if its leaders follow the Constitution, act in a fiscally responsible manner and uphold traditional American values.  All three of those principles are needed to properly administrate this nation.  Sadly, none of the major parties fully embrace them.

CP-USA is also committed to uniting conservatives and has worked hard to ensure we do not split the conservative vote.  While CP-USA is not in the business of trying to rehabilitate the RINO-riddled GOP, we have enthusiastically endorsed conservative Republicans…..when we find them.  That policy will continue in 2014 and beyond.  Once CP-USA gets on the ballot in respective states during the next five years, however, we will support our own candidates when/if no other true conservative candidates are in the race.  Example: CP-USA would not have challenged Ken Cuccinelli in the recent VA gubernatorial race because he is a true conservative.

Despite his long standing opposition to a third party, even Rush Limbaugh is starting to soften his stance.  Sarah Palin and Mark Levin have discussed forming a Liberty Party.  And Judson Phillips has openly called for conservatives in the Tea Party Nation to seriously consider a clean break from the GOP.  In addition, a clear majority of Americans now believe the time is right for an alternative to the two major parties (Republi-Dems).

Surprisingly, however, Americans are not generating a renewed groundswell of energy for the Libertarian and Constitution parties despite the fact they’ve existed for more than 30 years.  Those parties have enjoyed only limited success in moving the needle for a variety of reasons.

What is driving this sea change in attitudes?

The long and short answers are simple: Many Americans across the political spectrum have lost faith in the unprecedented expansion of big government that Democrats demand while the majority of true conservatives have lost faith in the Republican Party’s ability – and willingness – to restrain that growth.

Despite the fact that ObamaCare is the most pernicious case of consumer fraud ever perpetrated on the American people, the House GOP just passed a Budget that funded this treachery for the next two years.  The GOP essentially told the Tea Party and Conservatives to go to hell and not stop for any red lights along the way.

The Conservative Party’s short-term goals are to defeat Democrats at every opportunity and to phase-out the current crop of “go along to get along” French Republicans when necessary.  Our long-term goal is to get CP-USA candidates elected. In the mean time we’ll support conservative Republicans.  The modern edition of the GOP marginalizes true Conservatives and takes us for granted.  True Conservatives are bled white by today’s RINO’s who too often thwart or dilute conservative legislation and abandon long-held conservative tenets.

Doing “business as usual” is no longer a viable option if America is to survive.

To accomplish those goals the Conservative Party will unite true conservatives and Tea Party members by providing them with a strong political base that empowers them to formulate a genuine conservative agenda and articulate those views.  CP-USA also gives true Conservatives a home where they can stand tall with apostolic conviction to express their traditional Judeo-Christian beliefs without fear or reservation.

It’s time to ..Come Home America!
